Finally found a term for what we do when looking into a microscope and pretending to see things - an "eye of faith". Pity I can't take credit for that term; it was used by our anatomy lecturer today (not in reference to microscopy, but to muscles of the pelvis.) Hmmm, I don't know.. Every time a J Hayes anatomy lecture ends, I just feel it was the toughest lecture we have up to that point in time. But after reviewing it, it would always then seem that I over-reacted. Haha. (Though I haven't had the chance to do today's yet..)
